The Twin Peaks Archive by David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti is an album with rare and unreleased tracks from both the television series as well as the prequel film. The catalog was initially released between 2011 and 2012 via davidlynch.com as individual songs (priced $0.99) or discounted bundles. None of the 212 songs were —at least in their full-length form— previously included in the Music From Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks Season Two Music And More and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me soundtracks. Rare Twin Peaks production stills appeared in the background on David Lynch’s website, and Twin Peaks fan Ross Dudle made beautiful, grungy cover designs for every track.
There are currently no plans to release Twin Peaks Archive by Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch as a physical album, and they’ve been removed from davidlynch.com. But today, you can purchase download the entire catalog of nearly 10 hours of music as a digital download for only US $9.90, or about 5 cents per track. Available file formats are MP3 with a bitrate of 320 kbps, or Apple Lossless.

great if the server company has a working connection that doesnt fluctuate between 0kb/s and 500kb/s ever 3 seconds.. Taken me 3 days so far to get 50% of the album downloaded lol
I wish they’d make the website (stylish though it is) a little easier to navigate. I bought a bundle of tracks about 8 months back now, and it’s hard to know what to buy next (the bundles aren’t named in the album descriptions metadata) without duplicating any tracks. Fantastic music but they need to make that site more user friendly…

Hi Ken! No, they’re still there. It’s just not the easiest site to navigate.
Go to http://davidlynch.com/index/ and click EXPLORE in the top right corner. You’ll then see the titles of tracks and bundles, starting with the most recent release.
Unfortunately the option to buy the tracks seems to have disappeared?
I’m finding it impossible to buy as well.
I hate apple lossless (no real reason except it’s apple and mp3 is so low grade. Why no flac, wave or even better quality files… but if we can’t buy them I guess there’s no reason.
I agree with John – I bought almost half the bundles as they came out, but the site made it too much of a chore to keep at it.
If it offered a ‘complete the album’ purchase ala itunes, one that recognized what I’d bought, and sold me only the remainder — I’d do that now.
Can’t this go on iTunes? The site is horrendous.
I hear you, Billy. I too wish they’d sell this on different platforms. But for now, it seems like Topspin is our only option.
I’d be on it like white on rice if I weren’t being forced to choose between the world’s worst two audio formats.

There are actually 213 tracks instead of 212. 2 different versions of Laura Palmer’s Theme (Letter From Harold) are present on the full album. The track list on the official download page only lists 212 tracks as well, although the track order is slightly different than the one listed here.
if there was a wav option available at all? i got some flacs a year ago and finally got to listen to this collection, it is amazing – i have to BUY it, or just transfer the money 😉
if there was a loseless windows version, the non-apple people would be all over the moon 😉

For those hesitant of TopSpin Media (and who wouldn’t be based on many online reviews and BBB complaints!): I can confirm that I successfully just downloaded the MP3 files today. (I know Apple Lossless is probably better, but I’ll be listening on iPhone only).
My download was quick, and the files are playing fine. It is a true treasure trove of over 212 incidental music, cues, and longer songs not available on the existing soundtrack CDs. Quick scan of track times: shortest track is ~31 seconds and longest is over 12 minutes.
