The Endless is a husband-and-wife folktronica duo from Los Feliz, CA, mixing haunting female vocals with electronic shoegaze and dreampop. Every holiday season, the band releases a single or EP of which all proceeds go to charity. This year, they pay homage to the Twin Peaks soundtrack with a 6-track EP that includes covers of Falling, Sycamore Trees and Just You as well as their instrumental versions.
Our holiday EP this year is a tribute to a television show dear to our hearts: Twin Peaks. Angelo Badalamenti & David Lynch created a sonic soundscape so ethereal, so surreal, and so unspeakably sad, it gripped us and has colored much of our own work. We can’t begin to approximate the perfection of the original recordings (including Julee Cruise’s unforgettable vocals). We can only pay homage to something we have long adored.
