As I have expressed before, Julee Cruise‘s Rockin’ Back Inside My Heart is very dear to me and I’m glad every cover so far has been very gentle to the original. That includes this most recent version by the San Francisco-based Stripmall Architecture, and even its video by Ryan Coseboom could’ve been recorded inside Twin Peaks’ Roadhouse. The song’s featured on their limited edition mini-album The Exotic Sounds of Stripmall Architecture, which you can order in physical format (for the time being) or as a digital download.
Today, we present The Exotic Sounds of Stripmall Architecture, a mini-album containing a little of this and a little of that. Sounds we thought you might like as much as we do. We are only producing 150 physical copies of this release, so we hope that if you’d like one for yourself, you’ll act quickly.
Thanks to Janice for the tip!
Delicious, dreamy perfection.
