David Lynch and Chrystabell -formerly stylized as Chrysta Bell- have teamed up once again to release a new album titled “Cellophane Memories” set to be released on August 2, 2024, under the Sacred Bones Records label. Check their site for a pre-order link!
Fans get an early taste of the duo’s new music with a first single called “Sublime Eternal Love” now available for streaming. And there’s a David Lynch directed video for it as well.
UPDATE: In case those strings sounded familiar: yes, as confirmed by the song’s credits on Tidal, it is Angelo Badalamenti on synthesizer. Expect the late and great composer to feature a few more times on the upcoming album.

The 10-track album will be the third record capturing the unique synergy of David Lynch’s avantgardism and Chrystabell’s mesmerizing vocals after “This Train” in 2011, and the “Somewhere in the Nowhere” EP in 2016.
