If Laura's death was erased, why did Leland still end up in the Lodge?
He may not have murdered his daughter, but he'd still done a lot of bad stuff. Well, him and BOB.

Maybe Laura's death was erased in one timeline, but she's still dead in the original timeline.
It seems as if Lodge entities can exist in multiple timelines/realities. Or more accurately, transcend them.
