Three years after unboxing Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery, Kimmy Robertson and her kitchen knife are BACK!

Today, on her birthday and wearing a woodsman cap, the actress reveals the inside of the ‘limited deluxe’ packaging of the Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series Blu-rayIn addition to what we already knew about the digipak, it appears that opening the slipcase reveals Dale Cooper in his ‘Dougie Jones’ state of mind. Also of note is that while region free, this release only has English audio and subtitles.

I’m really hoping there’s a digital copy available on Vudu or iTunes as a backup just in case I lend this set out to friends and they screw up the discs. I have the original series on Vudu and it would be a welcome addition! Fingers crossed!

Anyone who knows when we can expect a European version of the Blu-ray with more subtitle options?

Very good question. I tried to find out too but never found any answers. Very Lynchian.

Kimmy Robertson is so cute and funny. And smart.

OK good, the thing I was hoping for – that the package opens up on the chevron seam – is what they’re doing. And that you get to see Dougie when you open it is brilliant.

Also interesting that it looks like they’re not doing the special packaging for the DVD version.

      Yes you were right 🙂

I like the idea. But the photoshop execution is quite poor imho.
When we see Douggie’s face it’s weird visually. His face with good Dale’s face don’t match, making it awkward.

Anyway, I applaud for the creativity here and the effort from the studio.
Too bad the photoshop artist couldn’t make it work visually speaking.
