In premiere here on Welcome to Twin Peaks today, enjoy this animated version of the 1990 Twin Peaks intro. A labor of love and collaboration between three friends.

“I did all the art,” Pakoto tells Welcome to Twin Peaks, “Raul Madplane made the animations and Nadia Khairat helped with the post-production.” One could argue that the result looks like a cuter and way more refined South Park version of the opening credits. It sure does make something we all love even more lovable.

Is there a full version somewhere or is this unsatisfying snippet all?

    Recognize her?

    • Avatar photo Pieter Dom says:

She looks almost exactly like Laura Palmer!

      • Danny SF says:

Its her (Sheryl Lee). I got it from an old school friend of hers who lives in SF. Funny thing, he looks like a younger Donna which makes it trippy,

  3. Rob B. says:

Great, now I’m envisioning Cartman as Jacques Renault… 🙂
