Thanks for all your diverse answers to last week’s question, where were you in ’92? Quite a few readers mentioned watching Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me in completely deserted theaters, but there was a big crowd out front of at least one cinema playing the movie. Do you recognize where? Or even better, can you spot yourself in this anxious bunch?
Stay tuned for more…
Looks a lot like the Pacific Northwest, doesn’t it ? Judging from the landscape in the background, it could very well be in North Bend, or somewhere else up there in Washington state.
I love the people’s outfits on the picture. So 1990s, and very “Peaksian” in a way.
I saw FWWM on Sunday (for the first time) in London and it was a full house! In fairness it was part of a month long Lynch showcase but still am surprised the film did quite so badly. I personally loved it, in spite of the fact it excluded so many central characters of the series and the new Donna was unconvincing (purely because she was new).. Would have been nice to see more of the jovial but still sinister side of Bob/Leland as well but supposedly Lynch was in a dark place when he made it.. Anyway, it’s stuck in my mind and I can’t wait for the Blu-Ray! Cut scenes would also be incredible, I hope that gets done soon (can’t believe some people have been waiting 20 painful years.)
Is that the North Bend theater just a block or so down the road from the Double RR/Tweed’s?
It is, Andrew!
