ABSTRACT MOOD

Many will recognize ‘Abstract Mood’ as ‘Night Bells’ from the Season Two Music and More soundtrack release. Originally recorded during the ‘Just You’ sessions, ‘Abstract Mood’ was one of the few tracks for the series to be recorded in Los Angeles and with players different from the usual contributors. Recorded at 1541 N. Wilcox Ave. in Hollywood, ‘Abstract Mood: Slow’ – as it was labeled on the original tape box – was the last cut of the session and most likely an largely unplanned improvisation…

Abstract Mood is presented here unaltered in its original version. Additionally included is a slower, near-half speed version of the composition.
