First Look: Twin Peaks Actor Carel Struycken Rehearses His Lines In Reverse Using iPhone App (Video)
Ever wondered how the Twin Peaks cast rehearsed their lines backwards for the Red Room and the Fireman scenes? There's an app for that...

Back in the ’90s, as the story goes, a prompter hid behind the vintage seats and whispered the backwards lines for the actors to repeat. (Ever noticed how Michael J. Anderson and Sheryl Lee seem to take some time to ‘listen’ after they say something?) In this clip from Richard Beymer’s “Behind the Red Curtain” featurette, which is exclusive to the Blu-ray set, you see Carel Struycken (the Fireman formerly known as the Giant) rehearse the line “Do you remember…” with the script supervisor. As you know, this exact line did not make it into the series. Instead, in the very first new scene, the Fireman tells Dale Cooper “Remember 4 3 0.” Does that mean David Lynch adjusted the dialogue on the spot? We may find out on December 5 when the new Twin Peaks Blu-ray comes out.
UPDATE: Turns out it is a deleted scene indeed.
