Philadelphia, the city that both terrified and inspired David Lynch, is paying tribute to the multidisciplinary artist with dozens of events, starting tonight. The impetus for these celebrations is his first major museum exhibition in the U.S. called David Lynch: The Unified Field at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

The Seattle International Film Festival is honoring Kyle MacLachlan with the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting. This will happen during a special tribute event at the SIFF Cinema Uptown, which will include a screening of the Twin Peaks pilot, an onstage interview and a Q&A with the actor.

Collage Festival is having a Twin Peaks themed fundraiser tonight called Twin Peak-a-Boo. There will be a viewing of the pilot preceded by Twin Peaks themed music and comedy, a costume contest, and an auction. There will also be plenty of coffee and cherry pie for sale, so you can put yourself right at the RR Diner!
92YTribeca in New York City is one of the first venues in the world to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, with a screening of the movie's 35mm version on February 24 and 25.
On June 18th 2011 at 8 PM, Richard Beymer's film about David Lynch will be screened for free at Bijou Cinema in Iowa City. Richard Beymer and producer Rob Wilson will attend the preview screening and stay for a Q&A afterwards.
