It’s been a recurring request among longtime David Lynch fans, but it took a pandemic for the quarantined filmmaker to bring back his famous lo-fi weather report —as always— recorded from behind his desk at his Hollywood home while peeking out the window. The 5/11/20 Weather Report is the debut video on an official YouTube channel called David Lynch Theater which was created back in November 2018. Let’s hope this becomes a daily event again [UPDATE: Seems like it is!], even if it’s just to assure us David Lynch is alive, healthy and kicking during the COVID-19 outbreak which currently has the state of California in lockdown.

Good morning. It’s May 12, 2020, and it’s a Tuesday. Here in LA, we got clouds and kinda foggy weather with some blue shining through. 62 degrees Fahrenheit, around 16 Celsius. All this should burn off later and we’ll have sunshine, around 71 degrees Fahrenheit. Have a great day, everyone!
