Every time cast members like Kyle MacLachlan, David Duchovny, or Naomi Watts sat down in Late Night with Seth Meyers’s guest seat, the host would profess his love for Twin Peaks. Now that the new series is airing on Showtime, Seth Meyers had the perfect excuse to recreate Episode 3’s Red Room dream sequence starring himself as Dale Cooper interviewing Laura Palmer.

It’s a weird show. It’s a classic show. And one of our writers thought it would be fun if instead of Studio 8-G, one night we filmed Late Night inside the mysterious Red Room from Twin Peaks. Check it out.

The parody aired last night in the original series’ 4:3 aspect ratio and to over one million viewers.

    Yup, that’s the 90s

How uneffective the camera movement and sound design was also shows yet again just how good of a job Lynch does
