If you thought New York City and London were the only cities hosting Lynchian burlesque shows, think again! On September 15th 2011, the L.A.-based Peepshow Menagerie will be presenting their 3rd annual burlesque tribute to the films and art of director David Lynch.
Beneath The Surface, as the show is called, will feature burlesque performances by (*deep breath*) Honey Ima Home (hosting as The Log Lady), Scarlett Letter, Charlotte La Belle Araigne’E, Anna Bells, Miss Angie Cakes, Polly Peabody, Miss Josie Bunnie, Dolly Danger, Olivia Bellafontaine, Vamp Lorraine, Glama Sutra, Holly Go Darkly, and special guest Scot Nery. Mather Louth and Radio Noir will take of the live music, while DJ Shane Love is on deck duty for the after-party.
Admission (21 & up) is $10, doors open at 9PM (music starts at 9:45, burlesque at 10:15).
