Well, at least there was the connection of the white horse (on "Carrie's" mantle) and the horseshoe necklace she's wearing. I'm assuming linked to her horse Troy in the diary. And Sarah Palmer's sedative-laced hallucinations. That's about all the comfort I took from 18. :-/

I also noticed her necklace horseshoe was upside down... which traditionally means all the luck falls out of it ... they are usually kept upright to keep the luck in
