Starting today, two limited edition Twin Peaks MetroCards are available at select subway stations across New York City. On the back side of these MetroCards, you’ll find the key art with either Dale Cooper or Laura Palmer along with the “It is happening again” tagline and Showtime’s premiere date. A collector’s item for fans for sure, I’m sure even NYC resident Kyle MacLachlan gets a kick out of sliding his own face through an MTA turnstile.
In case you usually don’t travel underground, the minimum value you can put on your MetroCard these days is $5.50 and the MTA adds a $1 fee for every new card. Here’s a #CooperCard obtained from a vending machine at York Street in Brooklyn.
