It’s been a recurring request among longtime David Lynch fans, but it took a pandemic for the quarantined filmmaker to bring back his famous lo-fi weather report —as always— recorded from behind his desk at his Hollywood home while peeking out the window. The 5/11/20 Weather Report is the debut video on an official YouTube channel called David Lynch Theater which was created back in November 2018. Let’s hope this becomes a daily event again [UPDATE: Seems like it is!], even if it’s just to assure us David Lynch is alive, healthy and kicking during the COVID-19 outbreak which currently has the state of California in lockdown.
