Bringing life to the world of TWIN PEAKS like never before, Twin Peaks VR includes iconic moments and settings from 2017’s 18-part limited event series TWIN PEAKS, as well as the original landmark television series. Utilizing lines and sounds from the show itself, players will travel to Glastonbury Grove, only to end up in the puzzling Red Room. Fans of the series will follow in the footsteps of Special Agent Dale Cooper and try to make their way back into the life they left behind.

Buying Oculus Rift right now! ?
Ah, this absolutely leaves me feeling conflicted. It looks beautiful and well made…I tried pitching this whole ‘Twin Peaks VR’ back in 2001 using VRML, some guy called Eli Roth said that he’d show it to DL on my behalf. Apparently it didn’t interest him. Funnily enough, I created ‘The Red Room’ , ‘The room above the convenience store’ , ‘Glastonbury Grove’. PC power back in 2001 wasn’t great, but the VRML environments doubled up as 3D chat rooms and fans of the show via a site called The Twin Peaks Gazette run by someone called Jordan, seemed to like my versions of the show’s locations.
So on the one hand, I’m delighted that Twin Peaks VR has become something that looks closer to what I wanted, were it not for the chasm of unavailable technology back in the day…on the other hand, I KNEW I was doing something really original, even named the bloody thing Twin Peaks VR, just needed someone connected with the show to take an interest. Ah, it covers the show. Won’t be rushing to buy a headset, then.
It’s been weeks since the last Fan Dossier post. Guess that’s done.
Twin Peaks VR is finally listed in the Steam catalogue today and will be available for purchase soon. The screen captures look fantastic.
