As a treat for the Twin Peaks fans among their own, alternative pop rock band The Joy Formidable recorded their own cover of the Twin Peaks Theme. “We had some time during the making of our new album to get excited that a new series of Twin Peaks is on the horizon,” the band told Welcome to Twin Peaks. “Here’s our tribute to that legendary series and it’s beautiful theme music by Angelo Badalamenti.”
The Welsh band infused the already dreamy instrumental with some well-placed aah-aahs, more reverb and slide guitar, and whipped up a video featuring atmospherics and memorable moments from the show. Check it out below and share your thoughts.
