Every day, once a day, we dream about Twin Peaks. But on Twin Peaks Day, it’s a 24-hour thing.

Every year on February 24, Twin Peaks fans worldwide remember the day of Laura Palmer’s tragic death and the arrival in town of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper.

In honor of the 26th anniversary of the start of the show’s story, there will be several giveaways on Twitter and Facebook (make sure you join the Twin Peaks Day 2015 event too). Watch the space below as well for a growing selection of fan tributes, tweets and thoughts shared with and by the Welcome to Twin Peaks community in the course of the day. And please use the comments to share your Twin Peaks thoughts today.

UPDATE: A big thank you to all Twin Peaks fans for their overwhelming participation this first year we’ve actively pushed #TwinPeaksDay as a thing! Thousands of status updates and photos were shared on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Check out a small selection below. And when Kyle MacLachlan participates, it becomes an official holiday, right?

I love Twin Peaks. I love it so much I named my freelance design studio after a location in it: Sparkwood and 21.
