When can we expect to purchase general admission tickets? *cries in poor*

  2. Brett says:

This would be a perfect time to announce more Twin Peaks. Ooops. I said it out loud, now it won’t happen.

  3. Claude says:

Wow, this is horrible. What a shame.

  4. Franny says:

Memphis?! This is about money, not the fans.

    • Julietta B Harding says:

Agreed. Those of us here in the Snoqualmie Valley (where the series was filmed, and where all the landmarks are) are terribly disappointed. My daughter just purchased the Double R Diner and is broken hearted that CBS values money over fans.

  5. Whose cruel joke is this? What an outrageously woeful decision by the greedheads and dullards over at CBS to host the Twin Peaks festival in…Memphis? Tragic. Yeah, I’ll go with the word *unofficial* any day of any week. See all you true kooksters over in Washington. (Did they seriously just not at all watch the series? The feel/look/vibe/everything of the Pacific NW is crucial to the TP vibe. Memphis?! Laughable)…

  6. The atmospheric beauty and compelling mystique of the PNW is crucial to the singular TP vibe. I love the King but Memphis is not Seattle/North Bend/Snoqualmie!! Super disappointed! Return to Washington please in 2021 !!!

  7. Idk, this seems way too corporate for me. You took what was a nice festival in North Bend, WA where the series was actually filmed and turned it into a farce. $1000 for the full experience is a bit much. It seems you get a lot, but what true fan would want to deal with Memphis glitterati in comparison to the ethereal Snoqualmie region? That’s CBS for you, though. They’re not famous for knowing their audience.

  8. Robert Weirick says:

Oh please, do not go to this fiasco. Just don’t show up and CBS will get the message.

  9. Ethan Petty says:

Why is everyone so distraught and upset by this? I’ve lived in and around Memphis, Tennessee my entire life, now the mountains of Arkansas. I’ve been extremely jealous of my fiancé because he has lived in Seattle before we met or having seen the show. He was able to experience Snoqualmie, North Bend, etc having no knowledge of the show or what he was seeing. We would both love to go back and see all the locations when we can…

But this is a chance for people who don’t have easy access (financially or otherwise) to the PNW an opportunity to go and live with the world and cast they love for a few days. David Lynch himself could give you ample reasoning for why Memphis also works within the world of Twin Peaks. 1956, the year Elvis first performed on Ed Sullivan and the Woodsmen came into the world of the show and so on..

Anyway, this is an amazing chance for someone who can’t just make it out to Seattle on a whim to experience this. I absolutely cannot wait to go 🙂
