Jack Nance’s Biography As A Comic Book

Nate Beaty's biographical comic about Jack Nance is an illustrated version of the actor's rather tragic life behind the scenes.

Today marks the 17th anniversary of Jack Nance‘s death on December 30, 1996. Many years ago for SPX 2002, Chicago-based cartoonist and web designer Nate Beaty created an illustrated version of the actor’s rather tragic life behind the scenes and he granted Welcome to Twin Peaks the permission to republish all 9 pages of his Jack Nance Biography Comic especially for the occasion. Coincidentally (or not?), Nate had only just returned from a visit to Snoqualmie Falls when I popped him an e-mail about his biographical comic.

And for the longer version of Jack’s bio, make sure you watch the I Don’t Know Jack documentary when you’ve got an hour and a half to spare.
