If you haven’t noticed yet, have a look at the eBay widget at the bottom right of every page on this site. At any time, it will show all currently available eBay items that have been signed by members of the Twin Peaks cast. Checking out that list regularly myself, I noticed a set of Star Pics cards with the autographs of three of the most iconic characters: Dale Cooper, Laura Palmer and Killer Bob.
In the words of the eBay seller, these extremely rare Twin Peaks trading cards issued at random and in limited quantities back in 1991 are “the holy grails of the Twin peaks autograph set” or “the centerpiece of any Twin Peaks collection“. Convinced of their symbolic value, the current owner charges a hefty $1,799 for Kyle MacLachlan’s signature, $699 for Sheryl Lee’s and $299 for Frank Silva’s autograph. At these dazzling prices, I’m stupefied to see that shipping isn’t complementary.
This card has actually been authenticated two different ways by PSA. First, the signature was deemed authentic and certified by PSA/DNA and second, the card itself was authenticated and graded a GEM MINT 10. This card is the real deal and 100% authentic, with the “Star Pics Authentic” gold sticker alongside the signature.

The complete set of unsigned cards can often be found on eBay priced anywhere between $5 and $25. Other autographed cards that are also for sale at the time of writing include Dana Ashbrook, Michael Ontkean, James Marshall, Russ Tamblin and Carel Struycken.
