David Lynch last night celebrated the release of his memoir, Room to Dream, at the same venue where he hosts his Los Angeles editions of Festival of Disruption, the Theatre at the Ace Hotel downtown.
During an on-stage conversation between the book’s authors and not specifying whether this was an audience-submitted question or inspired by her own curiosity, Kristine McKenna shrewdly asked the biographee about the possibility of a 4th season of Twin Peaks.
Kristine McKenna: Where is Carrie Page right now?
David Lynch: No idea.
KM: Is she waiting for you to get back to her?
DL: I say, it’s calling… but the signal has a lot of disturbances.
Leaving his cryptic answer fill the room with some electricity and hope, Kristine McKenna then randomly asked him how he keeps his hair up: “I have a heart-to-heart talk with it each morning.”

Stay in his dreams, Carrie. Keep tempting!
I met Sheryl Lee in Richardson TX last year- had a great conversation- what a nice and intelligent lady. Lots to explore with the Carrie character – I didn’t like FWWM as much as the original series but did love the way it gave S Lee the chance to really spread her wings and soar. Talented actress with a big range of emotional expression! ??Brother Mike
