David Lynch: Good Day Today / I Know

David Lynch's latest musical venture is officially out today on deluxe double vinyl, deluxe CD and as MP3 download. Both the original version of the catchy dance record "Good Day Today" and the darker "I Know" are included, as well as remixes by the hands of Underworld, Boys Noize, Diskjokke, Sasha, Simon Ratcliffe (one half of Basement Jaxx) and Jon Hopkins.

David Lynch‘s latest musical venture is officially out today on deluxe double vinyl, deluxe CD and as MP3 download. Both the original version of the catchy dance record “Good Day Today” and the darker “I Know” are included, as well as remixes by the hands of Underworld, Boys Noize, Diskjokke, Sasha, Simon Ratcliffe (one half of Basement Jaxx) and Jon Hopkins. The deluxe CD edition features an exclusive bonus track, which is the “Sunday Best Slow Motion Waltz” of Good Day Today. You can find the links to all different editions of the single at GoodDayToday.info.

The Boys Noize remix of Good Day Today (not my favorite, mind you) is available for free at GoodDayToday.info in exchange for your email address. The vocals in the Underworld remix were redone by the band’s frontman, Karl Hyde. Surprisingly, the CD and vinyl’s artwork is not by the hand of the singer/director, but by Vaughan Oliver and Marc Atkins.

Here are the official videos for both songs. They were chosen from tons of fan submissions in a video contest held last month.
