A new song from David Lynch and Chrystabell’s upcoming album Cellophane Memories has been released today, accompanied by a brooding music video designed, animated, and directed by David Lynch.
In the video, the singer, dressed in a see-through red dress (reminiscent of cellophane), steps into one of David Lynch’s Interior images. As she sings in the black-and-white decor, a small masked figure, familiar from Interior #4, approaches her slowly, adding an eerie touch to the moving picture. With Dean Hurley credited as co-writer, the song starts with the rhythmic clang of a train’s wheels on metal tracks and evolves to layer Chrystabell’s ethereal vocals in a manner evocative of Portishead.
