To Twin Peaks fans, The Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie, Washington will always be The Great Northern Hotel. Perched just above the 268-foot Snoqualmie Falls (or “Whitetail Falls”) and made world famous by the show’s opening credits, it served as the exterior of Benjamin Horne’s hotel established by his father in 1927.

So whether you’re in town visiting the Twin Peaks filming locations, or attending the annual Twin Peaks Fest in North Bend, there’s simply no better place to stay. Just ask the many cast members who have already stayed there when they were invited to the festival. Rooms start at $229.00 per night, so it’s not the cheapest option around (Dale Cooper must have gotten a damn good rate), but LivingSocial is running a 50% off deal for one-night stays from now until January 31 2013!

The current discounted price includes:

  • A one-night stay for two in a deluxe room Sunday to Thursday ($160) or Friday ($220)
  • $25 dining credit
  • $50 spa treatment voucher toward a 50-minute massage or facial (and 20% off a second spa treatment)
  • Stay in November or December for an upgrade to a River View room (based on availability)

Purchase the LivingSocial deal for Salish Lodge (available only until November 12th 2012).

UPDATE: The deal has expired, but always check here for another one.

Where is the interior shot? That’s where I really want to go and I can’t find it anywhere…

Nevermind… got it!! Kiana Lodge and soundstages… Someone must have upped the budget because I have built sets and building something to resemble the familiar look of the Kiana had to be expensive!!
