A David Lynch-inspired art show called In Heaven, Everything Is Fine opens tonight at the Roll Up Gallery in San Francisco. The show, curated by Lauryn Porte and Betty Bigas, has works on display by Freya Prowe, Patrushka, Emily Lounsbury, Emilee Link, Elain Bradford, Kirsten Tradowsky, Jenny Fontana, Edna Cao, Kashton Kane, Amelia Lewis, Stephanie McGovern and Boomer.
Explore the eerie, dark, and surreal world of director David Lynch during the Roll Up Gallery’s Halloween exhibition, “In Heaven, Everything Is Fine.” All of the artwork will be crafted for the theme of this show while incorporating Lynch’s weird sensibility, reflected as such in his films ‘Eraserhead,’ Mulholland Drive,’ and TV series ‘Twin Peaks’ (to name a few.) A installation replica of The Black Lodge from Twin Peaks will be also be on display for your “investigation.” BYOD (Bring Your Own Doppelganger), everyone!
