Fire Walk With Me By Abel (Video)

Fire Walk With Me by Abel is an instantly catchy stadium-rock song that'll probably be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. And while singing along, you'll be imagining BOB dragging his latest victim through the dark woods of Twin Peaks.

For those who thought yesterday’s Fire Walk With Me by Nico Blackheart was too cheerful, here’s a totally different song with the same Twin Peaks-inspired title.

Abel - Fire Walk With Me

Abel is an alternative rock band hailing from Poughkeepsie, NY, and “Fire Walk With Me” is the second track on their latest album called “Make It Right“. This is instantly catchy stadium-rock that’ll probably be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. And while repeatedly singing “Oh, the devil wants to drag my soul…” you’ll be imagining BOB dragging his latest victim through the dark woods of Twin Peaks.

My preference goes to the studio session version of the song, but I’ve also included the album version at the bottom of this post.

Abel – Fire Walk With Me (Studio session)

White skin, black dress, take me to bed.
I thought the devil was a woman, but it’s all in my head.
I spent years as a sinner thinking I could make a case for holiness,
But I never did.

White hands, black wheels, taking me out.
Take me out of the fire and into the doubt.
I spent years as a coward thinking I could get away with promises.
That’s what I said.

Oh, the devil wants to drag my soul, drag my soul down to the lake of fire.

And I hate this town.
Everyone’s a liar and the men of God are busy sleeping around.
But they don’t want to hear it.
They don’t want to hear a sound.

Oh, the devil wants to drag my soul, drag my soul down to the lake of fire.

I’ll never change, no I’ll never change.
I play the lover, but I remain the same.
You’re not to blame, no you’re not to blame.
It’s just years of this battle’s been pulling me into the flame.
