Most members of the Television Academy by now have received Showtime’s For Your Consideration screener for Twin Peaks: The Return (aka Season 3).
Based on the artwork inside the 5-disc, fold-open packaging, here’s the list of names Showtime is putting on the Emmy 2018 ballot for the 18-part series. More names may be added by the network or performers’ personal reps.

Industry professionals seems confident Twin Peaks will be nominated in the Limited Series category, and both Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern will get a nod as well.
The nomination-round runs from June 11 until June 25th. On July 12, 2018 nominations are announced live. The 2018 Emmy Awards take place on Monday, September 17.

Wow, Bob, Wow. I guess they shouldn’t have bothered. I do see other challenging TV nominated but a lot of nonsense too. I feel at least episode eight should have been nominated for something if not sound or some technical aspect. To have such a critically acclaimed show not get nominated seems an intentional slight.
Wait, I thought this read June 12th. Instead, the article says Jule 12th. I must have read the PDF of 2017’s nominees due to this error. 🙂
