Twin Peaks

Exactly 25 years ago today, on April 8th 1990, Twin Peaks made its groundbreaking TV debut.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the pilot, Welcome to Twin Peaks had planned some special surprises,
but in the light of current events, who feels like celebrating?

On October 6th 2014, Showtime promised nine new episodes of Twin Peaks written by David Lynch and Mark Frost, all directed by David Lynch. Six months later, David Lynch announced he stepped back from the project because Showtime is not offering the means necessary to give fans the Twin Peaks continuation he envisioned.

If Twin Peaks returns, it should have David and Mark's signature and style all over. Four out of five fans want to see the original and unique vision of BOTH creators. Nothing else.

Every day, at least once a day, Welcome to Twin Peaks excitedly keeps the fire of Twin Peaks fandom burning. Today, on the 25th anniversary of the show, the red curtains are closed.
