You may know Prom Queen from her epic Stranger Things remix of Laura Palmer’s Theme, but she’s not always cranking out synthwave. Earlier today, as she often does, Leeni turned on her mic and cranked up the reverb to see what would happen. And out came this beautiful acoustic cover of Shadow by Chromatics as performed during the end credits of last year’s two-hour Twin Peaks premiere.

“I have such a deep fondness for this song — it’s such beautiful yet simple writing which really comes out when you strip it down to just guitar and voice,” she tells Welcome to Twin Peaks, adding that she’s done a full electro cover of the song too, but she prefers this take.

“The Roadhouse performances [in Season 3] were really special. What a dream venue! I wish I could go see shows there every weekend. And just… slowly sway…”
—Leeni (Prom Queen)

For now, let’s slowly sway to Prom Queen‘s cover of Shadow by Chromatics, in premiere here on Welcome to Twin Peaks!

Let me know if you heard any interesting takes on this Season 3 song in the comments!
