On May 2, 2017, Twin Peaks fans will finally be able to listen to an approximately 7-hour audiobook version (Amazon) of Jennifer Lynch’s “The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer.”
We have already previewed some of the diary entries read out loud by Sheryl Lee, and today, Audible (via Yahoo) released a behind the scenes clip in which we see her in the recording studio, talking about her experience making this audio version more than 25 years after the book was initially published.

The most challenging parts for me to read are the deeply painful parts. During the reading of the diary, there’s times where she feels, or she knows that someone has read her diary. So there’s not even necessarily a 100% trust there, but there’s such a need, and so much pain that has to be expressed. It’s a scream for help.
