Well this is an observation who deserves really it's own topic.
There is so much to say about it (original series, FWWM and The Return), it'll be a pity to be drowned here amongst so many other previous observations.
I found the same blanket in the Roseanne (one from the late 80's). Although the squares may be a little bigger..
To see a similar one in the Roseanne image could indicate that it was a common prop item in the early 90s, or something like that, but the fact that the image of Sarah is from the Return would seem to make this significant, regardless.
Is that Mrs. Tremond/Chalfont's blanket in the Palmer house? How might this relate to the scene with Alice Tremond in Part 18? To the trailer in FWWM?

I would say YES , why else would he choose the same blanket.
Lynch has been quoted as saying that all the clues we need are in FWWM. .......

It is not exactly the same blanket (more black between colored squares than Mrs Tremond's one), but it is on Sarah Palmer's couch for a good reason : because someone wants to have this kind of blanket here.
And someone wants us to notice this blanket.
This kind of blanket is easy to find on Google or eBay.
Search "Granny Square Afghan Black".
The blanket is seen a last time (part 17) few seconds before Sarah (Judy inside) is trying to destroy Laura's picture.

The pajamas Johnny Horne wears in the scene where he is running through the house are identical to the ones Cooper wears in the series finale. Also Jonny smashes his face into the wall the same way Coop smashes his face into the mirror. The bear saying Hello Johnny how are you today? Connects to Cooper saying hello! again and again in the casino. And that is the same blanket!

Oh, I just so happened to have been paying attention enough on FB to know this one: the pictures are highlighted because someone was asking if perhaps they are portals like the picture she gave to Laura in FWWM. I don't think anyone found anything significant there to run with, though.
