1989 : Donna is now the new Meals on Wheels girl.
And she meets Mrs Tremond and her grandson.

Few days later, she comes back to the same home with Agent Cooper, but a different Mrs Tremond is living here.

Two different Tremond lived in the same house in Twin Peaks.

I always found it interesting that the Tremond's of Season Two seemed quite concerned about the dark forces at play (at least the grandmother did), but the Chalfont's seemed a bit more malevolent in FWWM. Again, the light and the dark seperated, like Cooo and Mr C. Anyone else have a similar reading or is it just me?

There is an old theory saying that Mrs Tremond (or Chalfont) is the grandmother of Leland Palmer.
Leland never speaks about his grandmother, only about his grandfather (the story of the summerhouse at Pearl Lakes where he mets BOB and is possessed.

In her teen years, Sarah Novick is possessed by a frogmoth.
And many years later, she have a passenger inside : Judy.

So, if the Leland / Tremond theory is true, was it true love between Leland and Sarah or was it a forced evil union ?

And who is living here ?
Tremond, Chalfont, Palmer, Judy...and the grandson (Red or another one) ?

Here is a 2010 long post on the Tremonds / Chalfonts :

Well, I'm really leaning towards  the Tremonds being in Sarahs kitchen, grandma being Judy and grandson telling Mr C that he will be with Bob again .

Lynch has been quoted as saying that all the clues are in FWWM

It is not exactly the same blanket (more black between colored squares than Mrs Tremond's one), but it is on Sarah Palmer's couch for a good reason : because someone wants to have this kind of blanket here.

And someone wants us to notice this blanket.

This kind of blanket is easy to find on Google or eBay.

Search "Granny Square Afghan Black".

I have seen this nearly identical afghan in my grandmother's house as well as at least half a dozen other grandmothers's houses. It's a very, very generic pattern and color scheme. I'm just not sure this is any kind of new information or useful revelation.

If someone wants us so badly to notice......why? Are we sure it wasn't just a general prop to make the house seem older and more out of date?

In FWWM, there is the scene on the Double R parking with Laura and the Chalfonts.

I've did not noticed that before.

Watch the video, at 40 seconds, the opening image of the movie with the no signal blue TV screen is superimposed on Mrs Chalfont (Tremond) and her grandson.

This is not a good quality video, on DVD or Blu Ray, the sound of the TV is better and the blue TV light too.

Teresa Banks was killed by Leland in the Chalfonts trailer just after he smashed the TV.

Was it the Chalfont trailer where she died? I thought it was Banks's own trailer which was in the same trailer park at the Chalfont trailer.

I think it's time for a FWWM re-watch.

Yes it was in the Chalfont trailer (the Owl Cave ring was under the Chalfont trailer).

But why ?

(and the TV in the Chalfont trailer is the same model seen in the Motel scene :

I thought  Teresa was killed in her own trailer. It had her photo on the fridge/wall showing her wearing the ring.....

Thank you! I'm not totally crazy in this. Or at least not alone in my insanity.  ?

Still time for a re-watch. It's been over a year now and so many details have slipped away.

You're welcome  ☺

As I get older I can't remember short term stuff very well. I only rewatched FWWM  a couple of months ago  but it's already foggy!

An interesting bit of trivia is that on the cast and crew call sheets, for the day that they filmed the Teresa Banks murder scene, the location for scene is specified as the Chalfont trailer and NOT Teresa Bank’s trailer. This makes absolute sense as the ring is found by Chester Desmond at the foot of the Chalfont trailer.

Sorry, but one question, how do you call this in english ?

(it was the time when the antenna was not plugged in the TV, or when programs were over during the night, or when we watched a blank VHS).

( from a french to english translation, it's "snow" or "parasites") :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-phVP2rzAQ4

It seems that this screen is kind of evil (Teresa's death, the Chalfonts on the parking, Laura's death).

Looks like the poltergeist in theTV in the movie with the same name.

Radio waves are evil too in The Return part 8, when the woodsman is speaking on KPJK radio.
