I was TERRIFIED that we were just going to have a scene of Dougie eating cake.
A la the game of catch.
Nah, he's fine.
Although, according to Jeffries to Mr C...
"So, you are Cooper".
Maybe Mr C is the real Coop anyway.

I very much doubt it but it'd certainly put the pigeon amongst the cats (deliberate choice of words) if it was true.
For a moment I wondered if the Log Lady's monologue was actually Coop talking through Margaret. Telling Hawk he is dying.
I couldn't place the reference she made to blue pines (can't remember the exact quote sorry). I wondered if it was something Coop said in the original series.
I felt no suspense during the Steven scene, because, in order to feel suspense, you have to care about the character. Or, at the very least, not actively dislike them. So, yeah, hopefully Steven's dead.
However, on a show that has not demurred from showing people graphically dying, the fact that we don't actually see Steven dead is.... perhaps cause for concern.
As for Dougie, I believe that the outlet/electricity will somehow bring him back fully.
I cared for "her" mostly in that scene

I do not get that saying...
Still, it would go some way as to explain Diane's behaviour .. maybe or not.. or summin

I believe that DougieCoop acts like that because the electricity damaged him somehow and also because Mr. C somehow stole his memories. He seems to know everything about everyone that Coop once knew, and yes, he is a double, so he might just know the same things... My guesses go for that Dale is damaged but somewhere in there... but I am suffering with the idea that while Mr. C alive, he might not find himself entirely.
I think that Janey-E may well do some messy & permanent damage to either Chantal or Hutch - and the other will be completely paralysed with grief as that just isn't in their script...
No idea what's going to happen with Cooper & Janey-E, I find her 'love' for him is very dependent on his ability to provide material possessions & look good & I'm still not convinced Sonny Jim is real.
Maybe if Cooper does come around, he could leave her with the car etc & James as a going-away present?
It would be so very great and just to see Janey-E mess up Chantel!
One thing about the fork in the outlet scene that raised a doubt in my mind is something that could just be an inaccuracy or may be meaningful. Dougie put the fork in the the left slot, which is the neutral connection. The right slot is the live (or hot) one and the lower, centered connector is ground. If the house/outlet is wired properly, he would get no shock from that part of the outlet. My guess is that it's just a small error, but with all the small details that seem to end up being important I thought it was worth mentioning.

The correct saying is "Put the cat amongst the pigeons", which means to cause panic and confusion. Doing it the other way around would mean the pigeon would live for just about the smallest measurable instant of time (I believe it's a femtosecond) before being torn to pieces.
Frost and Lynch would most likely enjoy that fate if they decided to reveal that Mr C was the real Cooper. I use the word "enjoy" in the ironic sense, the same way as "interesting" is used in "May you live in interesting times".

Ah, you crazy Americans and your stone age wiring.
😉
KM has called Mr. C a 'doppelganger' in interviews, and said that this season is a story about a man trying to find himself. So I don't think there are any twists coming.
It is interesting how Lynch kinda told us that Dale's return (assuming he's in his right mind in the next installment) would be in episode 15, with the whole 3/15 thing back in part 3.
Well, Cooper seemed to be thrown away from the electricity, which is always a good sign. The bit I found interesting was him turning the fork around to use the handle. I know it seems such a simple thing, but as DougieCoop had such fixed & repetitive behaviour - and that requires quite a bit of problem solving / higher level thinking...
Remember, Kyle M. is the one cast member who has read the entire script.
