Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Assuming mother/experiment was the thing in the glass box, and it escaped and somehow made its way inside Sarah’s body.
If mother has been trapped in it, then what is the frog insect? If that thing grew up to be the experiment inside Sarah (assuming she was the young girl), then there’s no way it could have been in the glass box.
The Experiment is a distinct entity. The one that appeared in the glass box in NY was Experiment Model. We have had discussions in this forum on whether or not Experiment and Experiment Model are separate entities. I think they are: Think about how many eggs she birth-puked. The girl in part 8 was a singular portrayal of an event that likely happened in several places to several people. Is that particular girl important? Possibly, but I don't think that she necessarily is. I like to think of folks that swallowed the moth-frogs as vessels or hosts for Experiment. They have become her children and may even metamorphose into models of her when she wants them to. At any rate, doubtful that we'll get an answer with regard to moth-frog girl in part 8, but that doesn't mean that Sarah didn't swallow one (I think she did).
Whatever it is, it's spreading like a plague: Sarah, the puking girl in the car and possibly the drunk.
Right? Calling all Bookhouse Boys (and girls). Report to the Sherrif's Station at once! Yes, Agent Cooper, that means you, too.
"What's in Sarah?"
Vodka. Lots and lots of vodka.
And a little tomato juice.
and tar.
- wonder if she smells of burnt engine oil?
and tomato...
I'd been wondering where the Experiment (Model) had been hanging out since she/it broke out of the glass box...
I'm not prepared yet to join you folks who've been calling her/it "mother" (of all abominations). Y'all bin reading too much Aleister Crowley. No doubt I will be proved wrong yet again come Part 15.
Caoimhín Shirey - I love your insinuation that there might be Bookhouse Girls. Who, do you think?

Well, Lucy was for sure on my brain. Sarah, however, rescinded her invitation (hope she changes her mind). Would also love to see Candie in the Bookhouse interrupting a plan in progress with comments about trees, rivers and animals. The ambience might draw out her mightier powers (I know they're in there). Really, though, I think it's high time for Gersten to step up and fight the dark forces. She's gotta have some kind of role in all of this. Why not join the Bookhouse gang? But, watching Julee Cruise hypnotize BL entities through song, so that the Fireman's army can prevail will be ice cream atop the proverbial cherry pie.
Not to mention, Where's super strong Nadine?
i think i saw Bob just before Sarah entered the bar. A long haired tall guy i think was passing by the billard table and suddenly stopped and looked at his boots/shoes and then walked away...and Sarah entered in..

Agreed about the mother of all abominations. I hope Lynch isn't placing trite biblical motifs at the heart of his narrative.

No coincidence that Sarah loves her Bloody Mary:
-Shes's Bloody alright!
-Mary is an appropriate name for such a powerful Mother!
?
Without Smirnoff, she points.
Yo got it right Wisdom ??
I can't seem to be able to attach more than one pic, but the DarkSarah pic is all over the Internet for comparison. I've read a ton of Sarah threads in this subforum and I don't think anybody has made a visual comparison yet.
The smile within DarkSarah's face has a slight irregularity in the two front upper teeth that reminds me of the above BOB pic. The canines might be different, however. The point of view in Sarah's image is slightly higher than in BOB's pic. I would like to find a good pic of BOB climbing over the sofa towards Maddie in 2.2, because the perspective is the same.
The teeth are definitely not identical to Laura's teeth in her iconic portrait. I don't know whether there are pictures of Laura's that match DarkSarah's teeth better. Same for the other Convenience Store inhabitants: all my sources are too dark to see the details.
Speaking of BOB, Frank Silva was credited at the end. Due to time constraints I always watch the series in the daytime, so I miss many details of the darker scenes. Where was BOB? I assumed he appears in the Mother vision or in the Two Coopers vision shown to Andy, though I didn't see him. Could it be that he was credited for the smile within DarkSarah's face? Feel free to disabuse me of this notion.
PS: I've just reviewed my post and shocked myself... sorry for the jumpscare. 😉

During Andy's White Lodge Powerpoint Presentation.
OK, thanks. 😀 In the end I'll rewatch it all during the nighttime.

I've heard that Bob is quite the hustler and it doesn't look like there are any pool tables at the Roadhouse and I can't imagine there are a great deal of pool halls in TP. So it only makes sense that he would be down at good old Elk Point 9 hustlin' for cash. All this jumping from body to body can't be cheap.
On the other hand, it might have just been a local who accidentally wandered into the shot. 😀
