Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Forgive me the ridiculous theory, but since David Lynch is into numerology, maybe Everett McGill (13 letters) will finally appear in Part 13.
I admit, I just want Big Ed to show up soon. One of my original faves, and WTTP played a small role in getting him out of retirement.

Do you think he'll show up in 13 and if so, where and how?
I think he'll show up at the Double-R, there will be looks from Norma to Ed, Norma to Shelly, Norma back to Ed, random patron to Shelly, then. . . Cut! Scene. More Ed two or three parts from now.
But the more pressing question is who is Big Ed living with now Norma or Nadine?
I worry about him. I am afraid he's alone and lonely.
It sure seems like Nadine is living in the back of her store.
It does seem like she lives there....there was a preview of ed having coffee...really sad vibe...

So most likely you'll have to wait until 14.
BIG ED!!!!!!
Who knows. Maybe it will be a Big Ed only episode, a whole hour told from his perspective. Now that would be interesting 😀
Aye, Big Ed is a great character. Be good to see him again, and hopefully, in a meaningful context, rather than just a filler or fan service.

You have my vote. I think big Ed sees a lot more than he lets on.
I always think of Big Ed as Stilgar, having seen him in Dune before Twin Peaks. I think he has that same kind of quiet, calm wisdom about him, the type that people sometimes mistake for being a bit dim. Ed is anything but dim; he's a cautious guy but, as one of the Bookhouse Boys, he must be a tough, resourceful fellow.
And his scenes broke my heart.
