I feel like we need a good Hawk, Truman and Briggs episode uncovering some facts about Garland at Jack Rabbit's Place. As to whether it's in tonight's episode, beats me!

I sure wish it was tonight. This has been the longest "two days" of my life.

I am not hopeful. It seems like that event will have to coincide with a number of othre crucial events, and kick us into whatever "final sprint" the series is headed for. i am not sure all the pieces are in place yet...

I agree. I think we have a couple more episodes of gathering the pieces and setting them out on the board...

I feel the people in South Dakota have to make it at least to Las Vegas before they can get to those days at Jack Rabbit's Palace and I feel that will start this episode or next. But heck this show twists no prediction is safe.

I agree with you.

UNLESS...  The events that will (presumably) occur at Jack Rabbit's Palace won't (immediately) propel us forward, plot-wise. If it's going to be self-contained, then it could very well happen tonight (episode 13).

What I'm referencing with all that is the FBI/Hastings scene in episode 11. On the one hand, that was a significant scene (I guess), on the other hand, it was pretty self-contained, and didn't immediately propel the plot forward. Afterward, they went back to Buckhorn PD, had some drinks and ciggies, chatted, and then later on Cole entertained a French escort.

So.... while I've been thinking all along that once Hawk, Bobby and Truman head to Jack Rabbit's Place then they're off on a wild adventure 'til the end, it may be another FBI/Hastings scene, and afterward they'll head back to the Twin Peaks' sheriff's dept. for coffee and donuts.

It seems we are (at least at some point) still on the evening of the day they found the messsge from Major Briggs, 9/29.

After NEXT week, there will be 4 parts left ( ! ), so a GUESS is by part 15 maybe the lead will be galloping ( I wonder if anyone will get that 😉 ).

When they eventually go to JRP, I'm sure they'll sit down to have coffee before discussing anything that goes on.
