I don't understand. Many people insist and insist on that they wanted more of the TP mood and that's exactly what they got with this episode.
For me it was a great episode, watching Dougie and see Naomi relaxed again it was great ♥ Also, a lot of information was released I think something bigger is coming and now I can't wait for the moment the Sheriff, Bobby and Hawk go to the Jackrabbits Palace.
Although, I agree with the previous posts. The casino's scene took too long to end, but at least it was full of Lynch's aesthetical features.
Ready to quit? I'm ready to get started. Gets thicker with every episode. Of course, I'm the kind of dogmatic acolyte who thinks Lynch's "failures" are still better than anybody else's "successes."
Last night was my least favorite episode, but I can't believe anyone into TP enough to join a TP discussion group would even suggest "quitting" after the tour de force we had in episode 8, which alone was more than anyone had bargained for and worth the entire price of admission.
Go back and watch the 90's soap opera style of the original series episodes and sit there and think about how far the series has come as you watch the atomic Bob bubble get puked from the experiment's mouth, hatching it's frog-wasp egg that enters little girls mouths.
Yeah, we've come that far from,"Diane. It's 10:30 and I'm eating pancakes. A dwarf farted on me in a dream last night. The stench was palpable." to instead having what amounts to tributes to 2001 and A Clockwork Orange and veering off into directions nobody anticipated even this series would ever go.
K, just keep recording and streaming to keep the numbers up for the rest of us
This Showtime series is not for everyone. It's easily the most cerebal, artistic, intense, disturbing, suspenseful and deceptive shows ever. . . Not just sit back and be "entertained" with no effort required
Loved this episode, it revealed a lot. Sorry the show isn't resonating with you. Maybe wait for the whole thing to come out and binge?
this show is way to awesome for your plebeian mind....go back to Game of Thrones and enjoy the corn ball dragons and sh't like that.
I'm nowhere close to ready to quit. I was on the fence about part 10 myself at first, but it's far from a killing blow. We're far enough in that I don't know what would even be a killing blow for me. I'm in for the whole ride.
I like to think of this season like I would a long piece of music, like say a Mahler symphony: there are moments of extremely high tension as well as low, because there has to be a balance. And like in a Mahler symphony, there are some bits that go longer than warranted, or seem excessive or quaint or kitschy, but it's part of the show and at the end of the day, I still want it either exactly the way it is or not at all. It's a complete vision and it all has an extremely distinct, compelling character of its own.
I guess I must have watched something else entirely because I thought it was amazing. Plenty of really well done, laugh out loud moments, lots of new character links and plot connections, Harry Dean Stanton playing the first song I ever learned on guitar, all this and a superb performance from Rebekah Del Rio.
Some of you guys would complain about free beer, I'm sure.
Well, i wouldn't even comment in a topic like that, but.. hey here i'm!
Ready to quit? Really? Quit watching the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in tv history?
I'm one of those guys who could watch for a whole episode Gordon Cole whistling and enjoy it to the fullest.
Anyway i assume the creator of this thread is a troll or at least he is in the wrong place to post stuff like that.. but again each of us has each own opinion so..

The hell you know the guy's into GoT? Maybe he hates it! I love Peaks, it's my favorite show, I like this season a lot, yet I think GoT has quite high standards for such a mainstream title (and I think others here are fans of both shows). No offense but this isn't the kind of statement that gives a display of an aristocratic mind.

What the actual..?
So far people here have managed to be respectful of others' opinions. IMO, this crossed the line pretty badly. No, it's not my site or my rules but, just as you are free to comment, so am I.
Oh yeah, it's "too", not "to", if we're going to talk about intellectual prowess.
I enjoyed this episode. I don't understand the comment about this episode being full of filler. I thought the opposite was the case. I felt like things were really moving forwards and coming together.
Are you sure you didn't fall asleep and wake up to a different show playing that you mistook to be Twin Peaks 😉
I think it involved lots of packets of information that perhaps immediately appeared to 'round off' stories, but actually just refracted the storylines. I certainly don't feel that I've been given any answers - quite the opposite!
Well, we don't want too many answers just yet. There's 8 more parts for that to happen.
I'm surprised so many people disliked this episode. it wasn't great but it wasn't awful in my opinion. Episode 6 was the worst for me. So much of that fucking awful Dougie bullshit. The show is pacing slowly. I'm sure that if it is binged it won't be so bad.
This episode was to move the Vegas story line forward and feature the very sexy Naomi Watts riding a mentally disabled person's cock.
