Interesting that the girl specifically asks for a light (think part 8 ~ "got a light?"), so it certainly seems that something significant is being portrayed to us here.

However. If Richard is Bob, why would he be so rattled by Red? Red appeared to hold too much power over Richard.

No way is he Bob.  He's a - for want of a better word - wanker.  Some jumped up little tit who thinks he's a tough guy when he's pushing young women around but scared to death of anyone who looks able to fight back.

It's not yet certain where Bob is, either; he could well still be inside Mr C, since the shooting and revival scene was inconclusive.  Having watched it again, it looked to me as though Bob was peering out of Mr C, nothing more.

Leland was not Bob, but Bob manifested within him from time to time.

So it's not impossible that Bob uses Richard in the same way IMO.

Nah, Leland, for all his faults as a "normal" human, was never a coward or a bully.  Without Bob to contaminate him, he was a pretty nice, if a bit odd, guy.

I think Bob's MO is to either hitch a ride with some serious badass like Mr C, or hide in a rather anonymous person until he needs to show himself.

Being in Richard would expose him to all kinds of risks that he may not be able to deal with successfully.  Richard gets into dangerous situations because he's dumb, over confident and basically a coward.  Just about anything he does could end with him being killed or at least apprehended by the LEA.  Then, if he knew Bob was on board, he wouldn't be so scared, and probably wouldn't act so stupid when the chips were down.

That's a good point I hadn't thought of that.

Richard is definitely a lot more of a menace. He's a loathsome, despicable wretch that needs to get taken down a.s.a.p. Not sure who Linda is, but if she's anywhere near as bad as him, Cooper has got to take them out.

Apparently Richard is the son of Doppelcoop/BOB with Audrey. This episode basically confirms it.

We haven't seen Linda and we don't have any clue  about her background yet so I wouldn't judge her to be evil yet.....

If the Andy's watch timeline is correct with it being the 10th that the death of the child happens, all of this may be after the portal opens on the 2nd.  So maybe Richard is the new vehicle for Bob or some other grey.

What child? Are you referring to something outside the show?

John Justice Wheeler could also be Richard's father as he took Audrey's virginity near the end of season 2

I think he's referring to the child that Richard ran over.

Yes I was sorry for not being clear, I was talking about the boy hit by the car on the road in the spot where Mike yelled at Leland accusing Bob of taking all the canned creamed corn. Which is an insane sentence yet exactly describes the event and place.
