It seems perversely cruel to wake up with just one life to live, no do-overs, no second go-round. But then it's an interesting life to see how we all take advantage in different ways. Some build awfully tall towers.

It reminded me of another article I read about Mulholland Drive ages ago, gives a quite a different take on it. And the opening paragraphs are possibly the best, most concise take on Lynch and his spiritual philosophy in his films that I've ever read:

Thanks for posting this. I know Lynch believes in it, but reincarnation never made much mathematical sense to me. As George Carlin once said, "Someone is printing up souls! And it lowers their value." 😉
