Who is the billionaire and what side is s/he on?
I'd completely forgotten about that mystery!
Earlier I would have said it was a secretive conglomerate supported by black lodge residents. Now I don't think this is the case. It really could be anyone. It could be Benjamin Horne under duress from his daughter. Could be anyone!
Who is the billionaire and what side is s/he on?
I would assume the billionaire could be Bad Cooper. He was said to be wealthy (the guy he phoned this episode who sent the extortion pictures of Dougy works in a rich looking office) and some people assume that Bad Cooper wants to join again with "Mama" (the eyeless monster figure), who had been the one appearing and kill the observers.
Another question: what were Dougie's scribbling/drawings about? Why was his boss concerned?
I think that Dougie/Coop saw a pattern in the records (the scribbles were his way of indicating the pattern even though he didn't really *know* he was doing it) that implicates the shady guy in the office in some sort of insurance fraud. That's what his boss is freaking out about.
Who killed Ruth Davenport?
Will the mystery of what happened to Chester Desmond be resolved?
Will the mystery of what happened to Chester Desmond be resolved?
If this isn't addressed in the "let's rock"
episode I will scream.
Hey looks like episode #13 is about me!
"What Story is that, Charlie"
I hope so. Even if it's just implied.
To the Chester Desmond point, I agree. I'd love to to learn more about what did/is happening to him.
Who is the billionaire and what side is s/he on?
I think it's either Mr. C or Jeffries.
Also, the first link on thesearchforthezone.com, kinda explains what this box is. A way to materialize the 5th dimension (and it's beings).
1. Who is the billionaire?
2. It SEEMED like Hawk was the lodge open in part one- does he know more than he is telling, or more than he remembers?
3. How's Annie? Really??
4. What really happened the night Dark Dale came to Diane's house? We all seem to think he raped her that night, and that seems likely, but is there something more, something that has to do with the texting?
5. All the little vignettes in the town- the degenerate youths, Jerry in the woods, Jacobi, Carl, all of it- is it just weirdness and red herring, or is it all going to knit together into some Sense Of What Is Going On?
....and all your excellent questions as well. I kind of hope we don't get answers, at least not neat ones.
Yup, the billionaire question is the one I'd like to see answered most of all.
Provided, of course, it's a satisfactory, full and complete answer and not just another set of labyrinthine plot twists that set off in a million tangents. 😉

Funny. I've been thinking it's Audrey. We all know how driven she was and How rich Billy Zane's character was. If she awoke from her coma pregnant, then she would've drawn the conclusion that Zane was the father. Perhaps they married? She later finds out the father is Cooper and tries to find him, etc.
Also, After we are introduced to the box in episode 1, cuts to Ben Horne talking with Beverley about a guest. "[Mrs Houseman] and her NY friends keep our spas running." This got me thinking about the Horne business and how much it could've expanded through Audrey.
That said, I've also been thinking its Jeffries!
Thanks for all the input, all.

Also provides an explanation on why Briggs didn't seem to age much (if at all) and why the Woodsman can sometimes be transparent/spirit-like.
How the hell did a fish get in the percolator?
