After watching episode 9 a couple of times, I realized a connection to Lil from Fire Walk With Me. During the scene with Bushnell and the 3 cops, Bushnell's left hand is in his pocket. Before he leaves, he steps in place and then.... open and closes his right hand!!! It stood out to me but I wasn't sure why until I watched it again! The cops are hiding something, being/will be belligerent, and its going to be a lot of leg work? Hmmm...thoughts?

but what about sheriff Truman's wife ... when she goes to tell him off about the grandpa's car...do you remember that scene?? she looks like she cant stop moving her hands and her movements are extremely remarked,,,,

Ex Boxer. Warming up for a fight. He knows there's something fishy and the good thing is, he's on Dougie/Coop's side. A good ally to have, IMO.
Lil was hiding her right hand in pocket and her left hand was the one opening and closing. Anyway it seems to be something in common... who knows, maybe it's intentional lynchian trick
