Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Does the moth frog creature represent a mutation that occurred as a result of the impact of the nuclear explosion?
Is this Bob entering his first host?
Thoughts?
It came from one of the eggs that "mother" vomited out, along with BOB, in the 1945 nuclear explosion.
I suspect it is a young version of the 'experiment model' that appeared in the glass box in New York, sort of like the feminine verison of bob(mother-laura) that will now entice the world, just as it captivated and leeched off of the giant(law, state, etc.) paralyzed by bob's appearance and the woman who got the gold coming off of this and began to adore the golden atom of laura, which tricked good cooper and was found in the head of dougie.
This 'model' was hatched in the wake of a nuclear test, a control of atomic reality itself, its destruction at the hands of man(fusing and splitting atoms, destroying reality's existence)....thus having this power is control over reality by knowing of its inexistence(shes gone), that it is something that can be 'manufactured' and modeled by experiements, nuclear tests, etc.. The model is feminine, like the bug(if this is the model) entering the young kids first engaging desire(much like the couple in new york), which will now turn from classic love songs to laura/leland-woodsmen, etc.. Experiment model was credited in the episode and this bug had legs and body of a feminine person, with an appedange that does not fit, much like the apparition in New York, a monstrous attempt at a whole that has already been destroyed(born as reality out of a nuclear blast), like a living dead thriving off of pain (Mr. C's resurrection as alive).
Also the name 'experimental model' suggests that it is created to attempt an experiment, to harness the power of the subatomic, what is there 'below' the atomic, when the atomic does not exist.....thus the 'spirit', the highly controlled government-billionaire surveillance and subsequent violent intrusion(killing and taking over a person/radio station), the nuclear tests, all suggest an attempt at 'manufacturing' of an atom through the 'subatomic'. Think about how good coopers disruption in reality was closed out by those black 'bars', and reacted to by the violent killing of the suspects who were about to bear his 'spirit'..... the world is their nuclear testing ground, their experiement, theirs to model.......

Yes, Bob was in a dark sphere with rock texture, the rest vomited were eggs.
Perhaps the girl is Bob's mother... the amphibibug definitely did not strike me as benevolent.
Boy was that creature animated well... kudos to everyone who did the effects for this episode.
I agree. I think that the two young kids we saw will become the parents of BOB because of what got inside her. But who knows.
Well, this episode 'explained' the mushroom cloud poster in Cole's office.
Could the Kafka portrait be related to this bug, as in The Metamorphosis?
I understood that even though this is the 40's and 50's, this is happening or at least being altered by what just happened in the present = Mr. C being "killed" and the dugpases (charcoal entities) taking the egg with BOB out of him. The egg with BOB could then be replaced in that vomitting of all eggs by their Mother, by the other egg with Laura. Which for me is the one planted in the desert, which became the frog-moth creature and made itself be swalloed by the girl. For me, that's a good thing that happened IN SPITE of the dugpases at the radio, etc. Only impression, of course, though. But I guess that's what we're mostly entitled to after this one...
At least it's been confirmed, Bob is puke.
Yeah...I was confused as to whether amphibibug (I love that) was a manifestation of BOBs egg or of Laura's golden sphere that was delivered by the white lodge.
I firmly believe that was Sarah Palmer at the end...but was she taking on BOB or Laura before the credits?
Revelation 16:13
But the girl said its good luck when she found the coin, that can be a clue that the moth creature is good, but at the moment i doubt it.
If the creature hatched from Laura's egg rather than BOB's, that more luck than otherwise, isn't it?
Current thoughts:
The frog creature is separate from the BOB Orb and the Laura Orb. Look closely at Mothers Puke. Many many eggs and only one BOB Orb. The eggs are spreading something new through humanity?
Extra thought: Charcoal men look burnt because they are entities that actually traversed the threshold of the nuclear blast to set foot on earth.
So three creatures came through the Trinity explosion: BOB Orb, Evil? Eggs?, and the Charcoal men.
I am spending waaaaaayyyyyy to much time thinking about episode eight. Can't get it out of my mind... My wife asked me a question about our lil doggies this evening and I responded "I told you the picture of the Trinity Blast behind Coles desk was important!"
But the girl said its good luck when she found the coin, that can be a clue that the moth creature is good, but at the moment i doubt it.
It's true the girl said that, it can't be a coincidence.
And luck and Sarah Palmer don't really go together for me. I find Sarah Palmer might be one of the least lucky people in this show.
I also read somewhere that Sarah has always lived in Twin peaks but I'm not sure where this info came from.
It also seemed to me the "gottta light" man at the radio station was reciting his poem so the amphibug could get inside the girl's mouth... no?
