There was no plan to have another season. It's what used to be called a mini-series. "One long movie cut into 18 parts."

I thought kyle was asked about another season and he gave a very vague "well see what happens" type of answer. If there's definitely no other season planned, then I couldn't care less about ratings in hopes of anothee season. I have faith lynch will wrap it up accordingly. It would suck if he leaves it open for more and it doesnt get renewed.

I am watching from the Netherlands, where Videoland (a streaming service) is airing it the day after it airs in the States. I took a subscription especially for Twin Peaks.

I have no idea how this works, but all these figures together should amount to a huge viewership. Except I don't see how Showtime would benefit from Videoland unless Videoland and other streaming services are paying Showtime, in which case it would be wise for Showtime to count these numbers as well. As they attribute to the success of the show. Now if there's someone out here who knows how this stuff works, and I've got wrong, please let me know.

By the way, when I watched the first two seasons back in the 90's (when I was 14!), there was no internet and no place like this to gather and be with like minded people. So fun!!!!!
