Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
With Buenos Aires now established as a location we seem bound to return to in future episodes, does anyone else feel like a Bowie-as-Jeffries appearance seems more inevitable?
Hopefully. I've said before that he passed later than Coulson so it is possible Lynch filmed something with him.
Not unless they have archive footage from FWWM. Bowie said the whole thing was rushed, mainly due to his touring commitments, so it's not likely there's much that can be used.
I can't imagine the crew using a double or a digital clone, so I guess there won't - sadly - be an appearance by Jonesy. I'd love to be wrong, though.
Excellent point! Could that incredible info remain leak-free for this long though?
Bowie was extremely tight-lipped about many things before the end.... in order to leave people with great little artistic surprises... all of his last music videos, the album in general, and the fact that when exposed to sunlight a starscape appears on the black star on the album cover. I think that both Bowie and Lynch would respect and enjoy an artistic secret like his appearance on the show. Not out of the question I would say... but maybe overly hopeful.
Guess we'll have to wait and see. No matter what, I bet there will be a few references and easter eggs here and there.
Anyone else notice the Kent guitar at the Bang Bang bar? Bowie played a Kent in the Rebel Rebel promo. A different model but still a Kent. A reasonably obscure brand for a US guitarist, given the number of established brands there. Kents were sold over here - UK - as Futurama.
