Another thing that I noticed is that when Tamara Preston looked through the tapes from the Glass Box camera images, she mentioned seeing the thing that killed Sam and Tracey but there was no mention of Cooper being there shortly before that.
Could be that the cameras didn't capture an image of him (quite possible as there weren't many frames of the "thing"), she saw him but didn't want to reveal that to Cole/Albert or someone else doctored the tapes before she examined them.
Hoping it is one of the last two situations.
thought the SAME thing. my belief is that perhaps it just didnt catch him because he wasn't close enough to our reality to be seen
If you look at the images displayed more closely, it resembles Coop flying into the box and hovering, not the creature that attacked the others. That appeared to be walking and manifesting very diffierently. For whatever reason, Coop isn't showing up fully on the film, so they only see a blurry image.
I suspect they will think it is one and the same, or someone will figure out that it is Coop at some point. But watch this space...
I also wonder about those black outlines on Cooper's image in the box that shuffle backwards and forward in space.... could that signal some sort of time/reality shuffling also? Cooper enters when the kids are checking the bathroom (or so the editing would have us believe), but he's not seen on the tapes... so something has clearly happened... maybe it's a time shift thing? In the Black Lodge, MIKE asks Cooper "Is it the future... or is it the past?"... I dunno, maybe I just want to find some way to change history and save the adorable Sam & Tracey 🙂
