of All the multitude of mysterys the one that really baffalyzes my brain is why the fireman felt the need to show Andy the pole outside Carrie page's house with the 6 on it. It is that pole because the fence in backround is the same . But what good can come of Andy knowing about it as its in a different dimension . Most things that don't make sense at least have a theory or multiple theories behind them but this is nosebleed material of the highest order .
I thought maybe because he was investigating the hit & run murder of the boy that happened near the same pole in Twin Peaks. That's why Andy reacted with horror. That pole means something to Andy.
That part reinforces the dreamer/trial or any other dream theory. Because there is reaction of Cooper when he see this pole near Carrie house. This is normal for someone who already saw something in a dream before. So in this theories what was shown to Andy is Cooper dream, so it is shown to him as dreamer and later he look at it near Carrie house like "I saw it somewhere already".

Could you not also argue though that the reason Cooper took paused after seeing the pole was he remembered the numerical significant of that pole from Fat Trout and Chet's disappearance?
I'm still not sure we saw all of the message given to Andy in the white lodge or to Dale by Jefferies. Notice the camera angle changes during both scenes which could leave 'space' for additional information to be shared off camera.

No because there is nothing to remember. Watch FWWM. This pole was shown to you, to viewer of film. There isn't any proof that Coop was looking at this electric pole. We see this pole and sound of the Arm when they are speaking to Carl Rodd and then he change and have strange behavior. It looks like he is possessed or he got warning to not to talk to FBI. There is no Cooper in this story at this point.
Seems you got it all worked out mate!

No one knows for sure that it is in a different dimension; they are just assuming or guessing that it is.
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but perhaps it is something to do with 'the OWLs are not what they seem'.
