Interesting !
But as far as i can read, this is for low voltage(Telephone, media etc), the lines we see most of the times, is high voltage lines, for electricity. But maybe there is a clue there 🙂

Yes, I think that's correct, but isn't there also a lot of weird phone reference in the show, especially by lodge entities? Mr. C uses the phone to cause all that havoc in the jail, and then his message makes the device in Buenos Aires shapeshift. He also needed cell phones for some reason. Lucy's comments about phones, and the Log Lady's comments to Hawk. There are probably more. Thanks for the comment!

OWL: "Open-Wire Line." Commonly run along American roadsides for over 100 years, until more recently replaced by "dark fiber."

Two arms, each carrying 10 lines.
And a phantom group... 15-16. (Carrie Page's house number.)

That's a seriously amazing find.

That's great ! I found a source. Here you go:

http://www.insulators.info/articles/openwire/

There is something interesting:

"Phantoms are derived from wires 1-4, 7-10, 11-14, 17-20, and 5-6, 15-16. The last is called a vertical or Pole pair phantom and has somewhat different electrical characteristics than the other phantoms because of the different spacing and configuration of the wires. Similarly the characteristics of the "non-pole-pair" side circuits such as 1-2 or 9-10, with 12 inch spacing between wires, are slightly different from those of the pole-pair circuits like 15-16, where the distance between wires is 18 inches."

So can it be, 5-6 15-16 are only reserved for godlike beings ? Cooper cannot enter socket with 15 on it, Naido shown him dead. After change there is 3. The one for normal beings.

You got this backwards. Naido warns him off socket 3 and he later goes through 15.

Wow, I sure got that wrong. I stand corrected.

Amazing. I guess the diagonals would resemble the zig-zag of a certain known floor pattern, or even the owl cave symbol, although those structures are likely not part of the specification.

Maybe the Black Lodge entities switched to "dark fiber".

I am the ARM!

5-6 is also a phantom group. Who lives at 56? If we find that out Twin peaks is completely solved.

Seriously though, interesting find.

Haha - thanks!
It just hit me: Jupiter is the 5th planet and Saturn the 6th. When the two come together, the lodge opens. If Carrie is the golden orb, which does look like it's headed to Odessa in episode 8, then it's also fair to say we get 1516 when 5 and 6 come together. That accounts for the entire phantom group: Fireman (Jupiter has long been synonymous with giants and God), Judy (Saturn is synonymous with gloom, sadness, pain, and mystery, which is where the term saturnine comes from), and Carrie (who was made when the Fireman encountered Judy - so in a way, she's the child of the lodges and of them).

In the Secret History Of TP Frost they talk about Crowley and the theory of the MOONCHILD as the child of the redhead woman and the Beast (Leland=Bob Sarah=red hair) so she could definitely be the daughter of the lodges...a meeting of 2 ....good and evil....she has to choose what she wants to become as in Alistair Crowley's book she was created for good purposes but her experiences and life on earth turn her into something different and we never find out whether she is good or bad

The Owls are not what they seem was one of the biggest mysterys of the show and electricity has played as big a part as the main characters so this find is nothing short of incredible and it makes so much sense . A round of applause is due for justine lyannah price for the research. She is the f.b.i ......

Thanks for posting this.  This is an excellent connection, I hope they did intend something along these lines regarding owls!

I will also point out that in TSHOTP, there is a plausible connection to the owls being alien greys, for example the picture of an owl has a hidden alien face in it, example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNPn5mB1pTM

There are other references to owls in TSHOTP, e.g., page 75 there was talk of a "walking owl" nearly as "tall as a man".  And around page 154 is a footnote that I think is meant not to be speculative, i.e. "I have found literally dozens of volumes containing theories and speculations about owls as metaphors and symbols--including one for the aforementioned Illuminati--"screen memories" for aliens in abduction cases, guardians of the underworld, messengers of the subconscious, and even more outlandish hooey.  There's one whacked conjecture that they show up as harbingers of some weird phenomenon I can't even figure out called "reverse speech," which is supposed to offer some sort of window into the deepest parts of the unconscious.'

Hi folks, first post, been reading and watching for a while.

Regarding the numbers 15 and 6, it might be useful to bring in some simplistic numerology in here to tie in the Palmer house. Adding up 7+0+8 gives us 15. Adding 1+5 gets us 6.

1+5+1+6+7+0+8 = 28. 2+8=10, the number of completion.

It might also be interesting to try gematria with the names in relationships.

Just a quick continuation on the Palmer house. It actually was bought 3 years ago

http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/locations/laura-palmer-house-for-sale/

What consequences might this have for our interpretation of what the actual current owner says?

Also the house is 708 which is 15 and 33 which is 6 and the number 33 has some pretty deep symbolic significance.

What an excellent find! Well done Justine and everyone else who has contributed.

Once note from me, is the absence of "owl" references in S3 significant does anyone think? I was thinking since watching the last episodes there were no references this time around, unless I missed something....

The last owl seen...was the one on the cover of The Secret history of Twin Peaks.

This one is a little bit older :

Wasn't there one flying over Dougie (when he first came to his house with red door? Can't remember for sure)
